The invention relates to the knitwear industry. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of thread tension control. The device has a thread tension sensor at each work station of a flat-panel machine connected to one of the inputs of the microprocessor control unit. In this block, signals are compared that are proportional to the actual and specified values of the thread tension, and depending on the sign and amplitude of the error signal, control actions are generated on the thread brake actuators and the spring-loaded thread guide. The microprocessor control unit is built into the electronic control system of the machine and can be used to regulate tension in all of its workstations. 1 hp f-ly, 3 ill.

The device contains a package (spool) 1, from which the thread (yarn) is unwound 2. Thread 2 passes through brake 3, self-stops 4, (knot sensor and knobs on the thread), return spring 5 of spring-loaded thread guide, deflector plate 6, thread guide 7 and the thread tension sensor 8 2. The output of the sensor 8 is connected to the input of the control unit 9 corresponding to the outputs connected to the actuators 10 and 11, respectively, of the brake 3 thread and the spring-loaded thread guide
The brake 3 thread contains a spring 12 placed on the drive shaft 10, and a spring-loaded thread guide holds a spring 13 connected kinematically to the drive shaft 11.
As block 9, it is advisable to use a microprocessor, which includes a reprogrammable unit for thread tension. The actuators 10 and 11 are made, for example, in the form of stepper motors.
The device works as follows
During the movement of the thread 2, its actual tension is controlled by the sensor 8. Information from the output of the sensor 8 is fed to the microprocessor unit 9, which compares signals proportional to the actual and specified value of the thread tension. AT

Depending on the sign and magnitude of the error signal, a control action is generated at the output of block 9, which is applied to the actuator 10 or to the actuator 11, or to both actuators simultaneously. The shafts of the drives 10 and 11 change the tension of the springs 12 and 13, respectively, so as to restore the desired tension of the thread.
The microprocessor control unit 9 can be used to regulate the tension of the thread, not only for one workplace, but for all workplaces of a knitting machine. Unit 9 is advisable to be embedded in an electronic control system, for example, a flat plate machine.

1. A device for regulating the tension of the thread on a flat plate machine containing a sensor and a tension adjuster connected through the control unit to the drive input of the thread brake, as well as a spring-loaded thread guide, characterized in that it is actuated to improve the control accuracy kinematically connected with a spring-loaded thread guide and electrically with a corresponding output of the control unit.
